DESCRIPTION: The Daniel's Music Foundation logo is shown, featuring the name of the foundation stacked next to a treble clef on the left.

David is sitting in a light blue room. He has light brown hair parted to the side, and is wearing a dark blue button-down with a necktie. Next to him is a guitar, an amp, and several bongo drums.

David: Hello. My name is David, and I am a music instructor and the early childhood music specialist at one of my favorite places to be, Daniel's Music Foundation. And I am glad you're here.

David: In this video, we will be moving to three songs with body motions. As always, please feel free to substitute any of the motions in this video for ones that feel best to you and your body. There is always a way to participate when you're thinking creatively.

David: This first song involves changing and alternating, and it goes like this. (SINGING) I put one hand on my head and one hand on my belly. When I say change, we're going to flip them. And change.

David: Good. And change. And change. And change. Let's see how fast we can go. And change, and change, and change, and change. And change, and change, and change, and change. [VOCALIZING] Drum roll on your lap.

David: Good. I put one hand on my chin and one hand on my knee. And change, good flipping. And change. And change. And change. And change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change. Let's see how fast that we can go. And down we do a drum roll now. Good.

David: (SINGING) I put one hand way up high and one hand way down low. When I say change, we're going to flip them. And change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change. Let's see how fast that we can drum roll.

David: For this one, we're going to do elbow and elbow. When we switch elbows, the other hand goes up. (SINGING) I put one hand on my elbow and the other hand on my elbow. That arm goes up. And now I'm touching the other elbow. And change, and change, and change, and change. Let's see if we can go a little faster. Change, and change, and change, and change. Let's see how fast that we can go.

David: Nice drum roll at the end. I put one hand on my shoulder. I'm crossing my body. And the other hand on my shoulder. Now my arms are making an x. When I say change, we're going to put them on the opposite shoulders. And change, and change, and change, and change. And change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change, and change. It's like you're giving yourself a hug.

David: Nice work. This next song comes from Raffi, and is called Shake My Sillies Out. For Shake My Sillies Out, I like to shake my hands from side to side. I have to wiggle my waggles away. I like to wiggle my body. Sometimes I like to twist at the trunk or rocking from side to side, right at my hips.

David: Well, in this song, there's a part for clapping, a part for jumping, a part for yawning. And then the song returns to shaking. Away we go.

David: (SINGING) I got to shake, shake, shake my sillies out. Shake, shake, shake my sillies out. Shake, shake, shake my sillies out and wiggle my waggles away.

David: I got to clap, clap, clap my crankies out. Clap, clap, clap my crankies out. Clap, clap, clap my crankies out, and wiggle my waggles away. I got to jump, jump, jump my jiggles out. Jump, jump, jump my jiggles out. Jump, jump, jump my jiggles out, and wiggle my waggles away.

David: I got a yawn, yawn, yawn my sleepies out. Yawn, yawn, yawn my sleepies out. Yawn, yawn, yawn my sleepies out, and wiggle my waggles away. I got to shake, shake, shake my sillies out. Shake, shake, shake my sillies out. Shake, shake, shake my sillies out, and wiggle my waggles away.

David: Nice work. Our next song is one of my favorites from the Laurie Berkner Band. I'm a big fan. It is called There's a Little Wheel A-Turnin' in My Heart. Now for this song, there are some movements. And as a friendly reminder, remember you can always substitute moves for ones that feel best to you and your body.

David: Let's review the moves. Wheel a-turning, we roll our arms around one another. For two hands clapping, we clap our, that's right, our hands. For two feet stomping, we stomp our feet. For little dog barking, we try our best bark like a dog. Arf, arf. For two eyes blinking, we blink our eyes. Some kids sleeping, we put our hands together, make a pillow, and rest it on our head. We might switch sides. And switch again.

David: For big truck honking, we pretend to push the horn on our steering wheel and say beep, beep. Beep, beep. Beep, beep. And then back to wheel a-turning with our arms rolling around one another. Let's try it.

David: (SINGING) There's a little wheel a-turning in my heart. There's a little wheel a-turning in my heart. In my heart. In my heart. Little wheel a-turning in my heart. There are two hands clapping in my heart. There are two hands popping in my heart. In my heart. In my heart. Two hands clapping in my heart.

David: (SINGING)There are two feet stomping in my heart. And there are two feet stomping in my heart. In my heart, in my heart. Two feet stomping in my heart. And there's a little dog barking in my heart. There's a little dog barking in my heart. In my heart, in my heart. Little dog barking in my heart.

David:(SINGING) And there are two eyes blinking in my heart. There are two eyes blinking in my heart. In my heart, in my heart. Two eyes blinking in my heart. There are some kids sleeping in my heart. There are some kids sleeping in my heart. In my heart, in my heart. Some kids sleeping in my heart.

David: (SINGING) There's a big truck honking in my heart. Beep, beep. There's a big chunk honking in my heart. Beep, beep. In my heart, in my heart. Big truck honking in my heart. Beep, beep. And there's a little wheel a-turning in my heart. There's a little wheel a-turning in my heart. In my heart, in my heart. Little wheel a-turning in my heart.
